Questions, answered plainly.
If yours is not here, ask it in the 'Ask the desk' topic once you have joined.
The group
Is the group free?
Yes. Membership costs nothing and you do not need an account with any broker to join or to stay.
Do you post trade signals?
No. The desk note says what we are watching and why. It never says what you should buy or sell, and members are asked not to post entries for others to follow.
What time zone does the desk run on?
UK time. The desk note goes out at 06:30, before London opens, and the review is at 17:30. Times change with UK summer time.
How busy is it?
There are xx,xxx members, but the group is quiet by design. Outside the session threads and the review, most of the day is read-only for members.
Joining
Who is it for?
Traders who already know the basics and want a daily structure: a plan before the open and an honest review after it. It is not a course for complete beginners.
Do I have to post?
No. Plenty of members read the desk note and the reviews and never post. We do ask you to read the house rules before you join.
Someone from the group messaged me privately. Is that you?
No. Moderators never message members first, never ask for money and never offer to manage an account. Report the account to a moderator in the group.
Can I be removed?
Yes, for breaking the house rules on copy-trading, promotion or personal attacks. Most other problems get a note first.
Brokers and accounts
Do I have to use your partner broker?
No. Trade with any broker you choose, or none. Your membership does not depend on it.
How does the Morning Desk make money?
We are an introducing broker. If you open and trade on an account with Wrenfield Markets through our link, we may receive a commission from the broker. It does not change the price you pay.
Is anything in the group investment advice?
No. Everything posted is education and market commentary. Decisions about your money are yours, made with your own plan and, if you need it, a regulated adviser.
Still deciding?
Join, read a week of desk notes, and leave if it is not for you. No hard feelings.
