Pinned · Desk note06:30 UK time

Good morning. Here is the desk.

Overnight
A quiet Asian session. The dollar drifted, nothing broke out. Ranges are tight going into London.
Calendar
UK inflation at 07:00, US jobless claims at 13:30. Expect wider spreads around both; we do not trade the release itself.
On our radar
Whether yesterday's range holds into the open. What would change our mind is written in the thread.
Sample briefing post. Market commentary, not advice. Nobody is told what to trade.
The desk rhythm

The same four beats, every weekday.

Structure is a timetable you can rely on. All times are UK time.

What happens in each
  1. 06:30 – 07:30 UK time

    Pre-London briefing

The written desk note: overnight moves, today's calendar, what we are watching and why.

    On the desk now
  2. 08:00 – 09:30 UK time

    London open

A moderated open thread. Members say what they are watching and what would change their mind.

    On the desk now
  3. 13:30 – 15:00 UK time

    New York open

A second thread for the overlap, plus a short note when US data lands.

    On the desk now
  4. 17:30 – 18:15 UK time

    Review

What the plan was, what happened, what we would do differently. Mistakes are the useful part.

    On the desk now

Sundays at 18:00: the week-ahead voice room. Saturdays the desk is closed and the group is read-only.

House rules

The rules are why it stays useful.

Six of them, written down, enforced the same way for everyone. Read them before you join.

All six rules
  1. 01

    No signals presented as advice

Share your plan and your reasoning. Do not post entries, stops and targets for other people to copy, and do not ask for them.

  2. 02

    No hype

No profit screenshots, no 'easy money', no countdowns, no rocket talk. Describe what you did, not how rich it made you.

  3. 03

    No copy-trading, no account management

Nobody here trades for you, manages your account or offers to. Do not offer it and do not accept it if someone messages you privately.

From the group

What members say about the routine.

Sample testimonial

I stopped trading the open on impulse. Reading the note first and posting my plan in the thread was enough to change that.

R. M. Member, part-time trader
Sample testimonial

The review is the best bit. Seeing other people post their bad days made it easier to look at mine.

J. A. Member, works shifts
Sample testimonial

No screenshots of profits, no countdowns. It is the first trading group I have not muted.

Trading with the desk

When you want an account, we have a partner broker.

You do not need one to join. If you want one, we introduce members to Wrenfield Markets fictional broker, and the start-trading page explains exactly how that works and what we earn from it.

Tomorrow's note goes out at 06:30.

Read the rules, check it suits you, then join. It takes two minutes.
